As of July 24, 2009, Watson Engineering Inc. has earned the ITAR registration to be a approved U.S. military parts supplier. Watson is already actively engaged in some of these operations and expect to see significant growth in the company in the next years coming.

Watson Engineering is the only approved metal fabricator of its kind recognized and audited by The Western Carolina / Renewable Water resources authority.  An industrial pretreatment site Inspection was performed on March 13, 2009.  We are pleased to inform you that we passed this inspection / audit without any major / minor findings pertaining to compliance schedule, administrative consent order, and/or significant non-compliance sections.  Our industrial discharge permit and all related permits remain functional and in full force as administered by state and local authorities.  This unique recognition was based upon Watson Engineering’s good stewardship toward the environment, its stakeholders, and continued compliance with regulatory agencies.  Copies of inspection / audit data are available upon request.

 

Watson Engineering has full turret punch capabilities, enabling Watson to increase our product line to include perforated assemblies and high volume sheet metal fabrications.

 

With 80,000 square feet of manufacturing floor space on 16 acres ,Watson Engineering's South Carolina location is ready to take on manufacturing of any size . This facility currently features CNC press brakes, High speed turret punching for material up to 6mm thick, high power laser cutting, robotic welding and much more planned for future expansion.

Ford Racing unveiled the FR500s at SEMA 2007.

Watson Engineering is responsible for producing and installing a full roll cage in the FR500S, as well as many other safety and race ready components.

Watson Engineering manufactures and installs safety and performance components for the FR500s Miller Cup racing Mustang including: roll-cage , suspension components, front and rear tow hooks , interior panels , electronic components,and most of the over all race preparation of the chassis. Watson Engineering has had their hands in just about every mustang that has been competitively racing since 2005.
